About
Gene Myers founded Datum Logic in 2009. Gene has a wide range of development experience, working at small software houses to large multi-national name brand corporations. He's worked on desktop applications, enterprise solutions, mobile solutions and large, high-transaction web sites. He's done bespoke development, created shrink wrapped produces, and delivered software as a service. He's seen things done right, and done wrong. He's made a few mistakes himself, and has had some resounding successes. At Datum Logic, each project is managed and resourced on an individual basis. We've built a good network of quality people that we can bring into a project.
We subscribe to the notion of the Lean Startup, not only for cash flow reasons, but because it's based on sound product management principals. One of the core concepts of a lean startup is the Minimum Viable Product. Minimum Viable Product is not shipping a product with a minimal feature set, but a product with a fully validated set of features. By keeping costs and overhead low while testing the market, you can ensuring your products success on a sounds financial foundation.
